Brainstorming is one of the major challenges of working on a team that’s spread out geographically. It’s much harder to bounce ideas off your colleagues if they are across the country instead of in the same building. Threddie is a simple, elegant brainstorming app that makes it easier to collaborate.
To get started with Threddie, choose the URL where you’d like your brainstorming session to reside. Then, create a briefing, add topics and invite collaborators via email or social networking sites. You can choose to password-protect the brainstorming page or leave it open. Your collaborators can then view the thread and then add their own comments.
That’s it. Threddie’s biggest attraction is its simplicity, and of course its price (it’s free). Depending on what type of projects you’re brainstorming for, it may or may not suit you. There’s no way to upload files, and links you paste in the thread are not clickable. If these types of features are important to you, I’d recommend going with Zenbe’s Shareflow. But, if all you want is a neatly organized discussion thread, Threddie is an excellent choice.
