When you make a purchase for your home, such as furniture or electronics, you don’t want to have to go through the trouble of returning it just because it doesn’t fit in the space you’ve earmarked for it. That goes double when you’re shopping online. Imagine if Goldilocks had to deal with returns and return shipping to find the chair that was “just right” for her!
Of course, actually measuring the space in question is step one, but what about shopping for products?
Enter Psizey, which filters Amazon.com search results so that you only see items that will fit in the allotted space. All you have to do is enter the type of product you are looking for in the search box, then enter the dimensions in the spaces provided. Psizey will then provide you with a list of products that will fit. If you see something you like, you can add it to your cart right from Psizey, then continue to shop.
Once you’re ready to check out, the checkout link will take you to Amazon itself, and you’ll need to confirm that you do want the items you’ve chosen on Psizey added to your Amazon cart.
Psizey is free to use, and no registration is required unless you want to save a set of measurements to easily access your search again later. It would, however, be a little bit more useful if it also indexed other popular shopping sites as well as Amazon. However, this is minor quibble-Amazon has just about everything you could want, anyway.
