Tired of clicking “more” and “even more” to access your favorite Google apps? Gpanion was made just for you. The site bills itself as “the easiest way to work with your Google apps.” Basically, it’s a customizable dashboard with links to your favorite Google services.
All you have to do to get your customized Gpanion set up is sign in with Google, go to settings, and then drag and drop the icons for the Google services you use most. Gpanion works on mobile phones (with Internet access, naturally) , iPads, and supposedly even your television, although there’s no instructions for how to make that work.
Gpanion is easy to use, and the interface is well-designed and attractive. It worked well on my MyTouch, but according to Download Squad, it doesn’t look that hot on a Blackberry.
Of course, since I use Firefox, I can use the Google Shortcuts extension for one-click access to the Google services I use most often from anywhere in my browser. So, I don’t think I’ll be getting much use out of GPanion.
