Ofuz is an online application aimed at freelancers and small business owners. It’s an ambitious little app that attempts to provide one-stop shopping for tasks including project management, CRM, time tracking and invoicing.
Ofuz has lots of powerful features. You can import contacts from Facebook, Twitter, Gmail or as a spreadsheet (an important and often overlooked feature for these types of apps). You can also create new contacts by CC’ing or BCC’ing your Ofuz dropbox address when you email them.
Contacts can be tagged to make it easier to sort through them, and you can use Ofuz to send mass emails to specific groups of clients (say, only former customers). Ofuz will also automatically generate the code for a contact form for your website. When someone fills out the form, a new contact is automatically created for you.
Ofuz also offers file-sharing capabilities, although you can’t edit documents online in the browser-you have to download them, edit them and upload them again. You can create tasks and relate them to specific clients or specific projects, as well. Timesheets are available, but at this time Ofuz doesn’t record time for you-you’ll still need a separate time-tracking app.
The invoicing feature is nice-you can upload your logo, and Ofuz automatically imports the hours you’ve worked on a specific project. You can also use Ofuz to create estimates for potential clients to improve.
All in all, I’m impressed. However, Ofuz has some limitations. For example, there’s nowhere to record your business expenses, so you would still want to use a separate accounting app like Less Accounting or Outright. Actual time-tracking capabilities would also be nice.
I think integration with other apps like Outright (which not only tracks income and expenses but also estimates your taxes) or something like Harvest for time-tracking would make Ofuz just about perfect.

Seriously, nice job. Integrate with Outright and I’d probably move over from Freshbooks.
Looks like it could be useful for project management, and contact management. The price is right!

I have jumped through a lot of online services. My major focus is invoicing, and I find Ofuz to use the right user interface. I think I can finally end my use of three different online CMS products and consolidate to Ofuz.
