DPD is a simple way to sell downloadable products like ebooks or software from your own website. With DPD, you can quickly and easily set up a virtual storefront for your products and integrate it into your site. DPD integrates with popular payment processors like Paypal to let your customers make payments online and then deliver a link to the download.
Download links are created seperately for each individual purchaser, and you can configure them to expire after a set period of time, only allow a certain number of downloads, or both. This helps protect your product from unauthorized distribution. Also, if you are selling PDF files, you can have DPD permanently affix your buyer’s name and transaction ID to the document, thus discouraging them from posting it online for others to download.
DPD Storefronts allow buyers to add multiple items to their cart and checkout all at once. However, if you only have one product for sale, you can use DPD’s Instant Checkout feature to make it faster and easier for buyers to check out.
Both of the storefront/instant checkout buttons and the download pages can be customized to match your site and your brand. DPD is easy to navigate and use, even if you are somewhat code-retarded. Once you have your products added and your buttons configured the way you like, you can install them on your website by cutting and pasting the code. As people buy your products, you can watch the money flow in on DPD’s Dashboard page.
It’s important to note that DPD does not actually process the payments for you, so you will need to have an account with a third-party payment processor like PayPal or 2Checkout.
DPD’s plans range in price from $5 per month to $30 per month, depending on how many products you plan to sell. There is a 30-day free trial period, and if you sell virtual goods, I’d say it’s worth taking DPD for a spin.

I’m not sure this is something brand new. There are already e-junkie and dozens of shareware and other downloadable stuff intermediaries, like RegNow, ShareIT and Plimus.
Thanks for sharing those alternatives! Which of those products do you recommend?
Depends on type of goods. E-junkie is pretty universal one when RegNow is aimed on software.
