Bidsketch is a proposal-writing tool created specifically for designers. With Bidsketch, you can quickly and easily create elegant, customized proposals and send them to clients. You can also use Bidsketch to keep track of both existing clients and potential clients, so you can find the work you need to stay in business.

Setting up a Bidsketch account is easy, as is creating a proposal. To create a proposal, simply select the type of design project and the sections you want to include.  No need to worry about writer’s block-Bidsketch comes pre-filled with sample text for each section, which you can then alter or rewrite completely to fit your needs.

You can also wow your clients by embedding images and videos right into the proposal.  When you email your proposal to your client, they get a sent a link to a landing page where they can review the proposal, comment on it, accept it and export it to PDF.  Bidsketch tracks the status of your proposals, so you can see at a glance how many have been accepted.

There are several professional-looking templates available for proposals, and you can also work your HTML magic to create a custom template of your very own.

All in all, Bidsketch seems like it would be a very useful tool for anyone in the design industry.  Plans are reasonably priced from free to $19 per month. The only thing I can think of that would make Bidsketch more useful is integration with popular online invoicing software, to easily convert proposals into invoices.

Other than that, I just wish something similar were available for writers!
