One of the great things about Twitter is that it can connect you to people on the other side of the world or right in your own backyard. LocaFollow is an app that makes it easy to find and follow Twitter users near you. All you have to do is enter in your location and go. If you want to find Twitter users with specific interests, you can also add keywords to your search.
Locafollow gives you up to 64 results at a time. You can see profile names, bios and the last tweet each person has sent, plus you can click through to their profile on Twitter if you want more information about them.
LocaFollow also makes it easy to connect with the people you find. There’s a bulk follow option, or you can select individual profiles one by one. LocaFollow also supports Twitter lists, allowing you to add users to existing Twitter lists or create new ones. However, this feature seems a wee bit buggy-it didn’t work at all when I tried it today, and I tried it a number of times. The list was created in my Twitter account, but none of the profiles I selected were added.
Even without the lists feature, LocaFollow should still be useful to anyone who wants to connect with local Twitter users in their area. I also think it would be super-useful for local businesses trying to connect with potential customers.

Hi, thanks for this great review. About the list errors, you should know that the Twitter API is very buggy these days: http://status.twitter.com/post/240542434/working-on-high-number-of-errors. If you try it again you will see it working ok.
