When you’re trying to email photos or upload them to a website, large file sizes can get in the way. Minicompressor is a handy little desktop app that makes it easy to shrink your pictures down to a more manageable size.
Once you’ve downloaded and installed the app, you can compress your images with just a couple of mouse clicks. Simply right-click on the image and choose “Minicompressor” from the drop-down menu. Minicompressor compresses your image and saves a copy in the same folder the original image is in. The original, full-sized image is not affected.
You can also compress more than one image at a time, even entire folders and subfolders. Using the Minicompressor settings will let you control the quality of the compressed images.
Minicompressor isn’t free-it costs 7.50 CAD, payable with Paypal. There’s no trial version, but there is a 30-day money back guarantee. If you email or upload lots of pictures, it might be worth it.
