Have you ever wondered what Twitter looks like to other people? CTwittlike is an app that will show you (approximately) what other Twitter users see when they log in.  CTwittlike is ridiculously easy to use-just enter another Twitter user’s ID, hit  the “cTwittLike” button, and Twitter-stalk to your heart’s content.

There are  a few limitations. First, obviously, you can’t cTwittLike private accounts-you’ll just get a blank screen. Second, even if you’re viewing a public account, if they follow private accounts you won’t see the private updates.  Third, you can only view the latest 25 or so updates.

CTwittLike is fun, but the service is a little bit spotty.  When I tried to use it, it went down after I viewed a couple of accounts.  The concept is definitely innovative, and nobody else offers a similar service. The user interface, complete with bespectacled bluebird, is goofy but functional.

As far as usefulness goes, I’m having a hard time coming up with any really practical uses for it, but it is definitely fun to play with!
