Want to take doodling to a whole new level? Livebrush is a nifty drawing app that lets you create interesting, attractive graphics just by drawing a line. Here’s how it works-you choose from a selection of different brush styles and tell the app how you want the brush to behave. Then, draw with your mouse.
Depending on what brush you choose, the settings you select, and how you move your mouse, the graphics on the screen will react differently. For example, moving the mouse in a slow, controlled fashion produces thinner lines, while sweeping, grand flourishes produce thicker, bolder lines and patterns. Flicking the mouse “just so” will result in a beautiful, perfectly drawn spiral.
To see what effects the different settings produce, you can use the “preview” tool. You can also draw with more than one brush style at a time. When you create something you like, you can turn it into a reusable graphic called a decoration that can be attached to your lines, share it with other Livebrush community members, or export it as an image.
Livebrush comes as a free app (Livebrush Lite), or you can get the full version (with more brush styles) for $10.00. The app is definitely unique and fun to play with. It should be useful for designers, developers and anyone who needs to create something cool and creative (T-shirt designs, party invitations, etc. ).
The user interface is attractive and fairly intuitive-my only complaint is that since the help pages on LiveBrush’s website are nonexistent at the moment, clicking on the little question-mark icons next to the different tools is pointless. You will not learn more about the tool in question. However, you can learn Livebrush pretty quickly simply by trial and error, probably even more quickly if you have more graphic design experience than yours truly.
Anyway, go check out Livebrush and let us know what you think in the comments!

Thanks for the review. Great site. The help files will be posted ASAP. I just needed to have them edited professionally.
