Managing projects and teams of people can be a challenge. Fortunately, there are a variety of web apps like Zcope that make it easier to keep everyone on target and on the same page.
Much like Basecamp, Zcope is a tool that simplifies and streamlines the project management process. With Zcope, you can manage a team of people, setting milestones, assigning tasks and tracking time. There’s also document storage and a “project blog” where you and your coworkers can discuss what’s going on. Zcope will send notices to the appropriate team members to remind them of upcoming tasks and milestones, and will notify the whole team whenever there is a new blog post. Premium account users can also use project templates to simplify the set up process.
Zcope’s user interface is intuitive and easy to work with. You can tag tasks, documents and milestones for better organization, and rearranging tasks is as easy as dragging and dropping them to the appropriate spot. Zcope is available to users everywhere, but the app was made in Europe and appears to be aimed primarily at European customers.
One consequence of this for US users is that the dates are all abbreviated European-style. It’s not a huge deal, but it would be nice to be able to switch between display formats for dates and times. Also, when setting up budgets, the only available currency is the euro-it would be nice to be able to choose other currencies as well.
Still, I think Zcope is an excellent project management app. Basecamp has most of the same features, though (all it lacks is budget tracking) and is a little cheaper.
If you’re interested in comparing Zcope with other project management apps, go ahead and try it out. They offer a 30-day free trial and unlike many other apps, they don’t ask for your credit card information until after the 30 days is over.

Collaboration Made Easy … ZCOPE review on Useful Tools … http://bit.ly/rPLej
Hi,
In terms of dates, you’re right. They are shown European-style, but we’re planning to have them in US-Style as well.
The currency icon is the Euro sign – but it’s only an example. There’s no switching between currencies on the platform so we just used this one. But if this is confusing for some people, we have to rethink that again
