One of the best ways to build trust with your customers is simply to listen to their feedback. However, that’s more complicated than it sounds. Surveys can be too structured, keeping customers from suggesting their own ideas. Managing data from unstructured forums or freeform feedback submission forms can be a challenge. That’s where Uservoice comes in.
Uservoice lets you set up a forum for your customers to submit ideas and feedback about your product or service. After an idea is submitted, it is posted in your company’s Uservoice forum, and other users can vote for it if they like it. This way, the ideas with the most customer support rise to the top. It’s kind of like Digg for user feedback.
Userface lets you create easy-to-install widgets to direct customers to your website. Single sign on makes it easy for them to sign on, and to receive updates if you decide to implement an idea that they have voted on.
Uservoice also allows you to store and download your data. The concept is similar to Get Satisfaction, but Get Satisfaction focuses on customer support and problem-solving, while Uservoice focuses on collecting ideas.
The user interface is attractive and easy to navigate from both the business end and the customer’s end. With plans ranging in price from free to $589 a month, Uservoice is a useful tool for small start-ups and large businesses alike.
