Dashboard is an app that allows sales reps from just about any field to easily keep track of current and potential clients. Much more than simply an address book that stores contact information, Dashboard allows you to quickly view a list of leads, check the status of each  and see what needs to be done next to close the deal. You can also add notes if there is something important you need to remember about a potential client.  Once you’ve won the lead over with your awesome sales skills, it only takes a few clicks of a mouse to close the deal in Dashboard.

Dashboard lets you have up to five users on a free Beta account, so you can invite other members of your sales team and use Dashboard to measure everyone’s progress.  Dashboard just released an update with several new features, including the ability to filter, sort and tag leads. Since the service is web-based, you can access it from any computer-no more waiting until you are back in the office to update your CRM program.

Dashboard is definitely not the only web-based CRM application out there. However, the user interface is easier to use than many similar apps, and the dashboard screen means you can see your most recent leads, actions and your agenda for the day all on one page.  If you’re a salesperson whose livelihood depends on managing leads effectively, Dashboard could quickly become indispensable.
