Share Documents Effortlessly On Twitter

As Twitter has grown in popularity, people have come up with countless  ways to answer the question “What are you doing right now?” Your answer is no longer limited to 140 characters.  Applications are now available that allow you to answer that question by quickly and easily posting pictures, videos and music to your Twitter profile.

Now, Twitdoc has extended that functionality to include documents, too. Before Twitdoc launched, sharing documents on Twitter took several steps. First, you had to upload your document to a website. Then, you had to copy the link, shorten the URL, log into Twitter and post it.

With Twitdoc, you can do it all in one step. Just enter your Twitter username and password, upload your document, enter the text for your tweet and hit done.  That’s all, folks! Twitdoc scores high in innovation-they are the first company to streamline the process of sharing documents over Twitter. The user interface could not be any easier to use, but could be a little more visually appealing.

As far as usefulness is concerned,  Jason Kincaid of TechCrunch noted when he reviewed the service that  “most people simply don’t have as many documents that they’d like to share with all of their Twitter followers” as they do pictures, music and videos.  That’s probably true, although (as you can see from my screenshots) Twitdoc does provide an easy, one-step way to share pictures, as well. I think the sheer simplicity of using Twitdoc will make it extremely useful for certain subsets of Twitter users.

  13. Tip* to have updated content daily on twitter, you can use a news aggregator or RSS feed, you can as well post at predetermined times during the day. The maximum tweets you should post daily must be between 2 and 4. more than 5 tweets is overkill.
