Jing is an application that helps you easily create and share screenshots of whatever is on your computer. You can use Jing to capture still pictures or video, so it’s much more versatile than simply hitting the “print screen” button. Using Jing is a relatively simple process.-once you install the software, an icon in the shape of a sun appears on top of your browser. Whenever you see something that you want to capture, click on the icon.
You can crop the screenshot so that only part of your screen is captured, and you can annotate your image with arrows, rectangles and text. Once you have everything the way you want it, you can share the image or save it. With a pro account, you can upload directly to Facebook and Youtube. Jing is an awesome tool for blogging, creating videos that demonstrate how to use software or for documenting bugs in software programs.

Jing has an attractive, user-friendly interface, but to avoid unintentionally engaging the program, you may want to change your preferences so that the icon is not at the top of your screen all the time.
